Legora Portal
Portal is the white-labeled workspace that lets you share work and collaborate with your clients using the power of Legora—without requiring the client to buy anything. No more scattered email threads, disconnected tools, or manually relaying previously completed work. It’s also great for in-house legal teams that want to let other departments handle common requests themselves. Permissions, audit logging, and enterprise-grade security are built in.
Portal access requires signing an addendum and completing the Global Authentication onboarding. Contact your Legora representative for details.
[Beta] Client matter centricity and ethical walls
Legora is now aligned with a matter-centric approach for managing projects. Each project can be linked 1:1 to an iManage matter or workspace, so your work stays structured the same way your firm operates.
Ethical walls are supported at the matter level (including those managed by third-party providers), as long as they’re configured to modify Access Control Lists in iManage directly—rather than enforcing walls through a separate security policy layer.
Generate playbooks
Generate a structured playbook from precedent contracts, existing playbooks, redlines, or written guidance, then review, refine, and reuse it across future negotiations.
This streamlines playbook creation by converting existing materials into a structured playbook you can refine and reuse.
Visual reading
The Assistant can now read and understand images directly. Attach JPEG, PNG, or PPTX files to analyze visual elements like diagrams, layouts, logos, stamps, and signatures. For PDFs, visual reading activates when you ask about something visual in the document.
Assistant reasoning
We’ve just rolled out Assistant Reasoning to all clients. It’s a small UX change with a big benefit: users can now see how the Assistant is approaching their request while it generates a response, making it easier to verify, trust, and steer the output early if needed.
Tabular Review: Column document referencing
You can now reference a specific document directly within a Tabular Review column prompt by typing "@" to attach it. The referenced document is saved to the column and acts as fixed context for every cell run in that column. Each cell in the Tabular Review uses both the row document and your referenced document when extracting information. This makes it easy to run comparisons across an entire review without repeating the same reference document in every prompt.
Enhanced web search experience
Web search now comes with stronger privacy and compliance protections, backed by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with search providers Exa and Linkup.
This improvement introduces regional query processing (EU and US), automatically matched to your existing regional processing boundary.
All queries are anonymized and zero data retention applies, meaning nothing can be traced back to you or your clients, only to Legora.
