Combine rows in Tabular Review

You can now use Combine rows in Tabular Review to merge related documents into a single row, so they can be analyzed together. You can do this by selecting multiple rows and clicking Combine rows, or by dragging documents into an existing row. Legora re-runs extraction across the set and returns unified answers per column with citations. Use Split rows to ungroup the row back into individual rows when needed.

Global filters

Tabular Review filtering is now more discoverable, with filters surfaced in the UI (not hidden behind right-click menus). You can also describe what you’re looking for in plain language, and Legora will generate the right filter combination.

Filters work consistently across data types, including ‘is empty’ and ‘is not empty,’ with improved Tag and Multiple Tags filtering accuracy.

Legal holds

Legal hold lets admins prevent a selected user’s content from being deleted by retention settings. Legora preserves that content with daily snapshots stored in encrypted, immutable Azure Blob Storage. Audit logging is available with Audit Logs V2.

Audit logs

Legora’s Audit Logs now cover more than documents. Firms can see platform-wide activity across documents, Assistant interactions, Portal, the Editor, Tabular Review, and knowledge items.

Audit events include details like timestamp, user, session info, IP address, and device information. Audit Logs are available on the Audit Logs page (previously the Data Governance page) and can be filtered and exported.

Data retention notification emails

Existing organizations with Data Retention enabled can turn on notification emails for resources nearing soft deletion due to inactivity. This is available to admins, knowledge managers, and auditors.

Notifications are sent 7 days and 1 day before deletion to the resource owner (creator) and org admins. Each recipient receives one consolidated message. Project names may be hidden depending on your organization’s configuration.

Excel file support (beta)

The Assistant can now read Excel files with more flexibility and detail, navigating between sheets, reading specific tables and ranges, and working across multiple files at once. This means you can ask the Assistant questions about data across sheets or files and get accurate, comprehensive answers. Excel files are also available in Tabular Review.

Please note that this release covers reading and analyzing Excel files only — editing, modifying, or generating Excel files is not supported.
