Overview

Templates in Tabular Reviews can help you save time by providing reusable format for questions and prompts. Whether you're reviewing a large set of documents or diving into a specific inquiry, these tools can make the process more efficient and organised by extracting the specific information from a large set of documents.

Use templates in Tabular Reviews

In Tabular Reviews, Templates are used to apply consistent questions across many documents. Here’s a quick rundown on how to work with them:

  1. Choose a Template: Start by selecting from pre-made Templates provided by your organisation or any custom ones you’ve saved.

  2. Use and Modify: When you apply a Template, it automatically fills in columns with questions and response types. You can then adjust any part of the Template to better suit your specific needs.

  3. Customising Labels and Prompts: For simple questions, just a label might work. For more detailed prompts, try tailoring the wording to get responses with specific information.

  4. Save and Share: If you make significant changes, save it as a new Template, which can be shared with colleagues to keep your work aligned.

Create templates in Tabular Reviews

Creating personalised templates in Tabular Reviews is quick and easy. Start by clicking Create New Tabular Review on the homepage or select Create New Tabular Review within the app.

Setting up a template is straightforward and consists of a few key parts:

  • Name: Give your template a clear, descriptive name to easily identify it later.

  • Labels: Assign labels to each column to organise the information you’re trying to identify.

  • Instruction (Prompt): This is the text you’ll send to Legora to extract the information you need. Think of it as a typical message to Legora—it could be a detailed question or an instruction.

  • Repeat: Add labels and instructions (prompts) for each piece of information you want to extract from the documents.

  • Lastly: Don’t forget to save this as a template. Include a helpful description about when or how to use it—this context will be valuable for future reference.

Tip: Use AI Generate to have Legora generate a prompt for you based on the label and format that you've selected.

Sharing templates

You can easily share your custom templates with colleagues or team members within your organisation. By sharing templates, you enable others to benefit from standardised instructions, prompts, and organisational structures you’ve set up. This feature promotes consistency, saves time, and fosters collaboration by making it simple for everyone to access and use the same resources. Shared templates can be used as-is or customised further to suit specific needs.

Templates allow you to create consistent and efficient workflows tailored to your needs in Tabular Reviews. By using templates, you can ensure uniformity across tasks and save time, making your work more organised and adaptable.

To share your templates:
