Overview

Q&A on a document in Assistant helps you get quick answers from specific documents. By adding documents or legal sources to your question, you’re instructing Legora to focus only on these sources, ignoring others to provide the most relevant answer. This feature allows you to swiftly retrieve the information you need from large documents.

Ways to Add Documents to a Question

You can add documents in three ways:

  1. Drag selected documents or folders into the area to the right of the sidebar (where you typically ask questions to Legora).

  2. Select documents in the sidebar, right-click, or press ···, and choose Add to thread.

  3. Search for documents in the search input at the top of the documents panel.

Ask Legora the questions you want to know

After uploading the documents you want Legora to focus on. You can ask specific questions about the document and Legora will answer the documents with citations on where it find it. It is like holding a conversation with Legora as a personal assistant.

Pro Tip

Select multiple documents holding ⌘ and select multiple consecutive documents using ⇧.
