Overview

Mention @Legora in a Teams channel to open a request, such as a contract review, deal support, or a regulatory question. Legora reads the message and its files, asks for anything missing, and files the request in Legora. The reply comes back in the same conversation. With @Legora in the channel, the request is captured from the message:
  • If anything is missing, you’re asked for it in the same conversation.
  • The request is then sent to the right team.
  • The work is tracked in Legora, and the reply comes back in Teams.
You do not need a Legora license to mention @Legora. The first time you attach a file, you sign in with your Microsoft work account so Legora can read that file.
An Admin connects Microsoft Teams before mentions work. A Microsoft 365 tenant administrator must complete verification.
Read the Privacy Policy for how Legora handles personal data.

How it works

Sending a request starts in a Teams channel where @Legora is present.
  1. Mention @Legora and describe what you need.
  2. Attach the files the team should see, then send the message.
  3. The first time you attach a file, open the chat from Legora and sign in with the Microsoft work account you use in Teams.
  4. After you sign in, mention @Legora in the channel again and attach the file again.
  5. If something is still missing, answer the follow-up in the conversation and mention @Legora.
  6. Legora posts a card in the conversation. It shows the title, an ID, a summary, the status, and where the request was routed.
A Teams message mentions @Legora and asks it to identify risks in a contract. A PDF named Consulting agreement is attached. Legora replies that sign-in is required before it can read the file, and that a sign-in prompt was sent in a chat. The team then works on the request in Legora. The answer comes back in the same conversation. Mention @Legora again to add context, or to ask for the current status.

Troubleshooting

Nothing happens when I mention @Legora?

@Legora only sees a channel after the app is added there. Add it to this channel, or send the request in a channel where mentions already get a reply. If it isn’t available in the organization, ask an Admin to connect Microsoft Teams.

Legora asked me to sign in?

Open the chat from Legora and sign in with the Microsoft work account you use in Teams. Then mention @Legora in the channel again and attach the file again.

There is no chat from Legora?

Open a chat with Legora in Teams. Then mention @Legora in the channel again and attach the file again.

I replied in the conversation, but got no response?

Only messages that mention @Legora are read. Add the mention to your reply.

There is a reply, but no request yet?

If the reply asks you to sign in, complete the sign-in, then mention @Legora again with the file. If it asks for missing details, answer in the conversation and mention @Legora. The card is posted once the request is complete.

Can I change a request after it is submitted?

Add a correction or extra context as a reply, and mention @Legora. For a different request, start a new message.
