October 2025 Release Notes

This month’s updates focus on faster, clearer decision‑making. Tabular Review gets dedicated review flows and an at‑a‑glance overview, while Deep Research moves into Assistant, voice transcription arrives, and legal research is more transparent.

Stats Overview in Tabular Review (Oct 30th)

The new Overview panel in Tabular Review gives partners and project leads a clear, at‑a‑glance view of any Tabular Review. It surfaces progress, red flags, and key findings so decisions happen faster.

What’s new:

  • One‑page status view for any review.

  • Clear progress and completion indicators.

  • Highlights of red flags and notable findings.

  • Built for partners and leads, not day‑to‑day reviewers.

Deep Research in Assistant (Oct 20th)

Deep Research is now built into the Assistant chat, making complex, cited answers easier to run where you already work.

What’s new:

  • Deep research now lives in the Assistant chat instead of the sidebar.

  • Same Deep Research capabilities with citations.

  • Zero data retention commitments apply.

Review Mode in Tabular Review (Oct 10th)

Review Mode in Tabular Review lets you assess results in a focused view without jumping around the grid, so teams can move from findings to decisions faster.

What’s new:

  • A dedicated review workspace inside Tabular Review to read, evaluate, and flag in one place.

  • Priority flags on cells (High, Medium, Low) to guide follow‑ups and ownership.

  • Flexible navigation to review row‑by‑row or column‑by‑column, matching how your team works.

  • Smoother, in‑context workflow that reduces context switching across the grid.

Voice transcription added to Assistant (Oct 9th)

Voice transcription lets lawyers dictate messages to the Assistant instead of typing. It is designed for moments where typing is slow or impractical, especially when asking longer, more complex questions.

With voice transcription, users can:

  • Start dictation from a microphone button in the Assistant for both first messages and follow-ups.

  • Record with a clear in-progress interface that shows when the microphone is active, and lets users send or cancel.

  • Get reliable feedback if the microphone is not working, reducing trial-and-error when dictating.

Improved Legal Research (Oct 2nd)

Improved legal research makes it faster to find and trust the right authorities across jurisdictions. A refreshed UI and a more agentic engine deliver deeper results with clearer source transparency.

What’s improved:

  • Cleaner legal sources sidebar with hierarchical navigation.

  • Simultaneous search across sources and collections.

  • Sources panel showing cited and considered materials, with one‑click open or attach.

  • Agentic research that queries multiple jurisdictions and follows instructions more precisely.
