Word Add-in is not working

If you are having issues with the Word Add-in, follow these steps to reset it.

Word for Windows - Troubleshooting

  1. In the add-in top right corner there is a drawer. Click that and then select the option "attach debugger"

  2. If the drawer is not visible, click on some blank space in the Legora Add In to make the drawer visible.

  3. In the debugger window, click “Application"

  4. Click “Storage"

  5. Check the box for “Including third-party cookies"

  6. Click "Clear site data"

Word for Mac OS - Troubleshooting

  1. Click the “i” which appears in the top right corner

  2. If the “i” is not visible, click on some blank space in the Legora Add In to make the “i” visible

  3. Click “Clear Web Cache”

  4. Click “Reload”

Word for Web - Troubleshooting

  1. Click on your profile picture or initials on the top right of the Legora Add In

  2. Click “Log out”

  3. Log back in to Legora in the Legora Add In for Word.

Word Add-in supported versions

  • Windows: Word version 2311+

  • Mac: Word version 16.79+

  • Web: Microsoft 365 Online
